Burnout on the Frontlines

Support * Connection * Strategies

Join us for a weekly Monday evening group for Frontline Workers

Are you feeling burnt-out, emotionally exhausted, a decreased sense of accomplishment, disconnection or struggling with under-met expectations of life and career? Are you looking to make a change, connect and find coping strategies that work for you?

Riverwest Therapy Collective is partnering with Kassie Colonna at K.C. Counselling to facilitate our first Burnout on the Frontlines: A Group for Frontline Workers (EMS/Nursing/Mental Health Workers/911, First Responders etc).

This group is a created space to share experiences, feelings, and learn new ways to cope with the challenges of life, job and internal struggles. If you are a frontline worker looking to connect, learn strategies, and find support that you need to continue building your career and give yourself the space to live a life you love outside of the workplace, then this group is for YOU!

This group is offered weekly from Jan 08th 2024 to Feb 26th 2024 - Book the Mondays that work with you! We honour the various shift, line, platoon and tour schedules that Frontline Workers have to juggle so we have set this up as a ‘drop in style’ group

Meet Kassie (she/her) - Burnout For Frontline Workers Therapy Group is facilitated by Kassie Colonna (she/her). Kassie is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) of K.C. Counselling. She is a grief-& trauma-informed therapist, who believes in the power of connection in change. She designed this group to be accessible, supportive, and educational, while helping participants connect with others who are facing similar life experiences in their work/life. She understands the systemic challenges facing frontline workers, as well as the common themes across the frontlines for clients as humans and first responders. Kassie has received in depth training for trauma, coping and first responders through formal workshops and trainings, and in working closely alongside her colleague and former supervisor, Meg Hasek-Watt, R.
