Heart Body Mind Psychological and Assessment Services
I'm Meg. I am a Registered Psychologist, founder of Heart Body Mind, and founder of the newly formed (est. 2022) Riverwest Therapy Collective. It remains my utmost privilege to meet and work with the clients I do. The focus of my practice includes but is not limited to: Bereavement, Grief & Loss; Death & Dying & End of Life planning; Anxiety; Trauma (including Post-Traumatic Stress Injury and other Trauma-related conditions); Chronic Pain and Chronic Illness; and coping with life, stages of change, and identity transitions (e.g. illness onset, retirement, new marriage, divorce, career changes, sex and sexuality) and more. I have a Master of Counselling and a Master of Health Promotion (my Graduate Funded Thesis Research was on the Lived Experience of Invisible Chronic Illness among Young Adults).
I am also very honoured to focus my practice on training and supporting Provisional Psychologists and Students with their career goals in Counselling Psychology. If you’re interested in joining the team as a Provisional and/or Practicum Student, please reach out.

Personal Interests:
I love love love all things Fall - it’s perfectly Falltastic in my books. I believe in Magick (my kind of Magick is finding the beauty in the everyday and moments of connection). I have three pups I adore and regularly can be found snuggling with on the floor ;-), two Tarantulas: Bridget Viola (she’s blue/purple!) & Curly; our baby Pied Ball Python George ‘Pumpkin’, and we have a rescued Tortoise named Tillie.
I’m adopted and have quite the experience of meeting my biological connections in Scotland. I live with Chronic Pain, Anxiety, and Grief/Trauma #LetsGetTeamShirts. I found my love at 38, happily remarried and am a step-mama now too. I hate roller coasters, love spinny rides (ask me about my debunked theory that I really want to be true haha), and the F word is my one of my fav therapeutic words (ask me about the science!); hence why I hand out crocheted F Bombs (I always say the only swears in my office are the “F word “ is Fine and the “S word” is Should ;-)
