Jing Liu (She/Her), R. Psych
Jing Psychological Services
Hi ! I’m Jing and I’m so happy you came to visit. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine before moving to Canada from China. Here I continued to pursue my passion for helping people by completing psychology undergraduate courses, as well as certification in children’s mental health. From there, I went on to complete a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) Degree from Yorkville University.
My work experience includes depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, anger management, grief and loss, self-esteem, life transitions, immigration-related struggles and so forth. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who come from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I have experience with providing counselling services for court-mandated clients.
I believe that counselling is a great way for people to gain new insights into their past experiences and challenges that they have encountered. My role is to walk alongside with my client and allow them to see their strengths and resources that might have been previously overlooked. I utilize a variety of therapeutic methodologies, creating and implementing counselling treatment plans fitting into each client’s unique needs.
