Taylor Callaghan (She/Her), Graduate Intern Therapist

Heart Body Mind Psychological and Assessment Services

Hey there! I’m Taylor (she/her), a proudly neurodivergent graduate intern therapist at Riverwest Therapy Collective. My practice is grounded in respect, collaboration, and an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and social justice lens. I believe the systems we navigate—like family, culture, politics, religion, or even TV fandoms—shape our stories, mental health, and how we process trauma.

I began my journey facilitating peer support groups for survivors of domestic abuse, where I witnessed the healing power of vulnerability, connection, and storytelling. Therapy, to me, is about holding space for life’s messiness while challenging the social structures that shape us.

I strive to create a space of curiosity, warmth, and authenticity. Rooted in narrative therapy and informed by modalities like ACT, EFT, CBT, and mindfulness, my approach is deeply relational and tailored to you. I also integrate feminist, queer, and existential perspectives, empowering you to question the status quo, embrace your needs, and thrive as your most authentic self.

I’m passionate about supporting clients through ADHD, relationships, trauma, gender exploration, grief, life transitions, and the general chaos of life. I’m committed to a decolonizing approach, continually learning, unlearning, and honouring the intersectional and spiritual aspects of being human.

My goal (nay–DREAM) is that you leave therapy feeling equipped to navigate life’s fragility and empowered to thrive within the unique systems and contexts that make you, YOU.
