Cheryl Pereira (She/Her), Graduate Intern Therapist

Heart Body Mind Psychological and Assessment Services

I am honoured to be working as a graduate intern therapist with Heart Body Mind Psychological & Assessment Services supervised by Meg Hasek-Watt, Registered Psychologist.  I have worked in the accounting field for over 15 years and am no stranger to stress, anxiety, and burnout. Walking through life while neglecting our emotional needs comes at a cost, and I strive to help people find a way to meet those needs in a way that aligns with their values. I use an approach that is person-centered and integrative, incorporating EMDR when appropriate to process memories or beliefs that are barriers to your healing.

Helping individuals work through internal issues that are impacting their ability to manage their finances is also a passion of mine. I firmly believe feeling in control of our financial future is integral to our overall health. I am thrilled to be able to combine my financial and therapeutic knowledge to help people explore beliefs and behaviours that are negatively impacting their wellbeing through the Feeling your Finances no-cost therapy program.

It would be a privilege to walk alongside you in your journey.
